Wild and untamed, Easthallow is home to many plant fairies, and has the largest number of 'uncivilized' fairies of any island. There is a large logging and farming town where many travelers come to gaze into the towering columns of trees that cover the rest of the island. Those who wish to live off the grid come here to disappear into the expansive and seemingly endless forest.
Easthallow has the most variety in terms of flora and fauna, with new ones discovered all the time. There are a variety of trees, ancient and young, towering and tiny, with other greenery sprawling along the forest floor. Birds, mammals, and insects are aplenty within the forest, which is dotted with rivers, meadows, and tiny communes that have settled outside of the city.

Rain is a frequent occurrence in the forest, though it is warm and gentle rain. Sun filters through the canopy and soaks the flowery meadows. Farming is easy in cleared land, but harder among the towering trees.

There are boundless surprises on this wild island, including cults and communes that have retreated into the protection of the forest. Unique neon birds and oddly shaped flowers can be found in the woods, along with deep lakes, rushing waterfalls, and cave systems. Easthallow is truly a nature lovers paradise, though you may need a native guide if you wish to brave the forest as a traveler.

Mauve is a very kind and nurturing soul at heart, and she is fiercely loyal to the ones she loves. She’s very caring about every creature, and feels for any sort of soul, be them good or bad. You could say it’s a weak spot if hers, she can be too worried about the sake of certain things that may not always be deserving of it. She can’t help that she finds it in her to seek out the humility in all of creation. Overall she’s a wonderful friend to have, and will always be willing to lend a hand to those in need. If you need someone to talk to, Mauve is a great listener, and will do her best no matter what to support those who need her. She’s been a social butterfly since she can remember, and thanks to her pleasant aura and pretty face, she’s had the eyes of plenty of men folk around the city. And while she’s dated some of them before, she just hasn’t found anyone she’s serious about yet. She’ll never admit it but a handful of them had even decided to break it off with her because of her terrible jealousy. So, while she can be the sweetest thing with her scent of fresh rosemary, and calming demeanor, she can also be quite competitive when it comes down to certain situations. She does usually prefer to keep it in the realm of good-natured fun, but if you get her jealous, s**t might just get real. So it should go without saying she has been prone to jealousy in the past; it’s gotten better as she’s got older, then again, there hadn’t been enough going on the last several months to spark that bad attitude. But who knows what could happen, what with all the recent changes she’s had to make in her life...

Caspian was born on a compound in the forest, to a father who had three wives and retreated from normal society to practice his polygamy. He was raised with his brothers and sisters among the trees, and was at home in the woods from a young age. He found his familiar, a jaguar he named Jai, as a teenager, and they have been inseparable since. When he was a young adult he left Easthallow to travel, but was detoured in Kelna City when he fell in love with a young historian named Iyanna. Despite his homesickness, they settled down in the hot city and were bonded. As they were trying for a baby, Iyanna suffered an accident at one of her digging sites and was crushed in a cave collapse. Heartbroken, Caspian fled back to the familiar woods, grieving his dead wife. He found work as a guide, leading non-natives through the confusing forest with the protection of Jai, and gathering herbs for healers in town. Caspian endlessly developed his sensing ability, and can locate anything or anyone who is on Easthallow island. He has gotten back to a good place in his life, working and traveling and living in the green maze he calls home. Caspian is an untamed and uneducated fellow, growing up in the wilderness of the forest. He has some habits that offend the more refined fairies of society, including never wearing shoes and being unbothered by dirt. But he's also bright and charming, willing to talk with anyone and undeterred by social norms.He tends to value action over words, and holds himself to a high standard of truthfulness and loyalty. When Caspian wants something, he makes it clear, though he also is willing to negotiate. Easy-going and good-humored, this widower can be found in the forest if you call for him, or in town if he's making an herb delivery.

Born to a single mother who died at childbirth, she was taken in by her grandmother. While her grandparents treated her well, many around her thought her to be an abomination; who had ever seen a plant fairy with blue eyes? She didn't have many friends growing up in the small village she was from, and she turned to the plants. After all, the trees and the forests kept secrets better than anyone, and she understood how important it was to keep her heritage a secret. Her grandmother had told her that if her true name had ever come out, she could be killed like many of her half-brothers and sisters, so she kept quiet, living a rather unassuming life on the outside, and keeping her real work hidden in her own spare time. Patience is a virtue, she had learned. Living with her grandmother, she had to take care of plenty of other grandchildren and cousins growing up, and she's grown into a rather graceful young lady. Equipped with manners that would put a noble to shame, she seems rather well-adjusted, a simple fairy with a little garden and flower shop, like many of the other plant faries in the region. However, she's rather manipulative; she knows how others think and well, if everyone assumes she's a simpleton, there's no need to disprove it. Clever and rather intrigued by plants and their poisons, she secretly sells rare plants and poisons to the black market.
