Kylee Susso
roleplayed by nostalgic
Kylee was born into the Susso family, to a generally disapproved of marriage between her sun fairy father, nobility in his own right in Falkirk City, and her commoner plant fairy mother. However, her parents were happy together, and their happiness meant a pleasant childhood for Kylee. She was always a plain child physically, apart from her tall physique, but she was a charmer from a young age. She had no problem making friends, and completed her history studies at Oak University. The stories of the old High Priests inspired her to leave behind Falkirk City and join the Temple as an acolyte trainee. Her refined social skills and pleasant attitude helped her rise through the ranks after completing her studies. She became a High Acolyte, serving alongside the High Priest, and eventually was asked to take the nomadic position. She agreed, and spent time traveling, preaching, healing, and leading worship for fairies all over Aster. After some time, she formed The Divine Syndicate a band of thieves that work with her, redistributing the wealth of the nobility to the less fortunate. They spend their time traveling and aiding the communities they come upon. Kylee is a very balanced and regimented fairy. Her bright and friendly personality has been tempered by her studies and her years of devotion at the Temple. She has seen the good and bad of society, and has a compassionate side for the poor and needy. She renounced the needless waste of the nobility she was raised in, and instead chose to live as traveling healer. Kylee has little patience for arrogance or oppression, and renounces it where she sees it. Anyone is welcome in her tent for a cup of tea and some sound religious advice, and she secretly longs to settle down- but to do so would mean revealing her less than legal past, so she is waiting for the right fairy to come along. Though necromancy is frowned upon, it is her second strongest skill, and she has used it a few times when no witnesses were around. Wasteful death weighs on her conscience, and she does everything in her power to save the wounded. In Kylee you'll find a kind, calm, compassionate friend who seeks to give back to the world and the spirits that gave her life.

COMMONERS

Cypress
roleplayed by phantom
Cypress comes off as a very cold shouldered fairy, but that’s just because his interests lie more in the flora and fauna of Aster then the other fairies who inhabit it. Socially he’s quite awkward, even if he wanted to talk to other fairies, he simply isn’t used to the interaction. He prefers to whisk around the more nature filled areas of land and study the animals, plants, and insects; as he’s aged, Cy has grown to keeping a journal by his side at all times, usually kept in a hip satchel on his right side. Despite not wanting to go to schooling at the orphanage when he was young, he loves to learn new things every day. So he’s taken to jotting notes down about all sorts of things he finds, and even sketching out particularly interesting creatures and plants. He’s likely considered short tempered to many, and he can be, but that’s usually only when he has to deal with large crowds; like when taking the ferries across to other islands- and when he has to go into town to get new journals and pens, or other various necessities. His attitude does seem to have a mild exception to plant fairies, however, for they often peak his interest with their strikingly natural appearance. He loves to fly about most everywhere when he can, so it goes without saying Falkirk isn’t his favorite place to go, but it does offer the best in trade- so he goes when he needs to. Because he has no job at the moment he doesn’t often travel into town anyway, but he’d rather live off the land when able. So he finds food in the forests and rivers when he can and sleeps wherever he’s at when he’s tired. He doesn’t bother to keep any proper schedule of sleeping at night or anything, because there’s all sorts of creatures and things to see under the cloak of stars. Cy is a very curious fairy when it comes down to it and his explorative side always gets the best of him. All in all, Cypress is not a bad guy, even though he might not be a very popular fairy. He definitely enjoys keeping to himself, and it has made him grow up to be a bit selfish. However, he’s also learning that the older he gets the more he’s having to interact with others. He knows he’s not the most approachable guy, and honestly he likes it that way- however he’s slowly beginning to learn just how to deal with others. And he doesn’t drink ale often but if he does, you’ll find he seems to be a lot more willing to open up.

Flint Capell
roleplayed by stellarfellar
Flint was born in Falkirk to Alistair and Erlene Capell, who both served the great nobleman Jasper Courtenay. Flint and his family would travel with Courtenay wherever he went and aid him in his adventures. The Capell family were treated quite well by Courtenay. That is, until Flint was around 19 years old, when he watched Courtenay drunkenly lash out, murdering both of his parents. Flint escaped with nothing but his life. The only thing left for him to do was scavenge the slums of Falkirk. Over the course of almost twenty years, he adapted to the harsh world around him, learning how to get what he wanted or needed with cunning and artifice. He then met his two best/only friends, Kylee Susso and Lucina Almeida. They decided that their efforts were best spent together. From that day on, the “Divine Syndicate,” as they called their brigandage, would take from the corrupt, cruel nobility in the name of the less fortunate. He wishes to one day find and kill Courtenay, but until then, he’ll settle for the adventurous life he has now. Flint is quite a confident lad, in many ways then one. This can be very helpful, in most cases. He’s quite charismatic, being able to win people over with just a kind word and a smug smile. He proves a worthy foe in battle, ready to take on anyone who might get in his way. But he can also be quite headstrong, causing him to put him and his friends in rather sticky situations from time to time.

Lucina Almeida
roleplayed by consuela
Lucina Almeida grew up in a small town a half a day's walk from the main city in Easthollow with her parents and younger sisters. Growing up was a struggle as her family had very little to their names and were lowly farmers that worked from farm to farm in attempt to make money to place food on the table and keep a roof over their head. As the oldest, Lucina was depended on to not only care for her younger sisters while their parents were away working odd jobs, but also to teach them on various subjects. Education was a luxury that did not cost much by many Easthollow fairy standards, but far too much for the Almeida family, so instead, they invested in various books and would on some rare occasions work for books rather than money in order to aid Lucina in new reading material to learn and teach her younger sisters. As Lucina grew in her reading abilities, she learned that she had photographic which aided her in absorbing and retaining reading material much more faster and clearer than any fairy in her village. As serious as she took her position in caring for and teaching her siblings, it wasn't bringing her family any money who continued to struggle over the years. As Luz grew into her more formidable teen years and her sisters grew more independent, she began to travel longer distances from her home in search of odd jobs to bring in money for her family, traveling often to the main city. After working for nearly a year in and out of the city, Luz realized the stark inequalities that was brought by the blunt division of classes within in the city. The realization infuriated Luz until one day, an easy opportunity to steal from a drunk, self-righteous noble appeared. Without hesitation, Luz committed her crime and got away with it. There was power in taking from the selfish rich that Luz never expected to feel. It was the beginning of her thievery that lasted some years. As shameful as the act was, Luz justified her actions by only stealing money and trinkets from the power and money hungry nobles and high-classed commoners that abused their powers. Those years would be the most gratifying for her family which had finally reached a level of holistic living the young Fairy felt they deserved. Of course, her family had no knowledge of the manners in which Luz obtained her money, having been told that she had taken up private tutoring in the city to which they believed. As peaceful and happy were in the few years, their world would be unexpectedly shattered some years later when Luz slipped up and got caught. She was immediately sentenced for Dalry earning almost a decade in detention for her crime. Having no way to warn her family, she was shipped off immediately on a boat set for Falkirk. It would be the only pit stop, to pick up more convicted criminals before the ship continued onto Dalry and the fairy's only change to escape. Thanks to her wits, knowledge and a random prisoner fight used as a distraction, she managed to escape the ship as it docked on on Falkirk, disappearing into the deep poverty stricken community of the main city. It was there she hid her true identity and began a life for herself in the shadows. It was then that she eventually met Kylee Susso and Flint Cappell. Together, they decided that an alliance with each other would be the most impactful as they all shared a common ideology; take from the corrupt, cruel nobility in the name of the less fortunate. The “Divine Syndicate” was born and the rest is history. Lucina is well educated and intelligent despite her rough and poor upbringing. She is a quiet and observant type who will often only respond to get an idea across or critic and questions other's ideas. She is very inquisitive and curious which often leads her to find herself naturally investigating situations or people. The Plant fairy has no reservations when it comes to calling out things for what they are, sometimes coming off as rude and cold in her verbal expressions. Luz is practical and organized in every way, leaning heavily into more tactical type of thinking when faced into situations rather than being spontaneous. In the overall aspect, Luz is quite passionate in areas of life she finds important, especially in her cause for justice. In the midst of passion, Lucina is hyper-focused and steeled, making it nearly impossible to throw her off of what ever goal she has in place. She is only stubborn in the midst of her passion which can serve to be difficult when others are trying to compromise with her.

Imaq
roleplayed by fishcomplex
Imaq does not speak often, apprehensive at all times and mostly afraid of contact with other sentient beings. She prefers to stick with the animals. When she does open up though, she is quite friendly and bubbly. She has an aura of innocence to her. While she may come off as innocent and positive, her incredible loneliness constantly drags her down and she's done things that would be enough to land her in prison for several years. Her utmost priority is her survival, and she'll do anything just to stay alive. She is angered easily. She is also not very bright.
